You can find avocado on anything these days, so why not try it on a crab cake? You will need ½ of a medium avocado, one tablespoon of mayo, one tablespoon of fresh lime juice, one jalapeno or serrano chile, stemmed and quartered, ¼ cup of milk, and a pinch of sugar and salt. Put the avocado, mayo, lime juice, salt, sugar, and just one-fourth of the chili in a food processor until the chile is finely chopped. Next, add milk and puree until the sauce is smooth. Simply put the sauce in the fridge (covered) to chill until you’re ready to enjoy your crab cakes.
