What Does Pizza Have to Do with New England?

What Does Pizza Have to Do with New England?

It’s not the olives that make this pizza New England Greek style.

Looking back over our posts from the last few weeks (or months) we’ve noticed we may have left out a vital aspect of what we do here at Box Hill Pizzeria. Sure, we have amazing crab cakes and, yes, we can ship them wherever you’d like. But we do more than just make and provide you with your favorite dinner to eat with a glass of wine. We make pizza, too. Not just any pizza, though. New England style pizza. Never heard of it? Keep reading to find out why we think this is the best style of pizza out there.

New England Greek

Just because it has New England in the name doesn’t mean there’s any oysters on it, and just because it has Greek in the name doesn’t mean there’s olives on there either (unless you want some). This style of pizza is characterized by a crust that is thin and firm, but not quite crunchy. A wonderful tomato sauce made with oregano comes next, and finally a blend of cheese to top the whole thing off. Topping make the pizza yours, so whether it’s pineapple, imported ham, mushrooms or something else, we can help you out.

All That Other Good Stuff

So now you know we do great crab cakes and delicious pizza, but we have so much more to offer! Looking for a nice lunch while out on your break? We have sandwiches, hot or cold subs, gyros and plenty of platter options to get you through the work day. You can come visit us after work, too. Our Italian specialties cover all the classics, from spaghetti to eggplant parigiana.
